What you’ll be doing...

We are looking for a Front End developer in the GTS VCG System of Engagement organization. This position will work closely within GTS teams and business teams to design and add value to code development and enhancements for ACSS. You will develop extensive understanding and experience delivering solutions within large enterprise systems framework and solutions for key business KPIs.

• Executing full software development life cycle (SDLC) – concept, design, build, deploy, test, release and support.
• Ensuring application development sprint cycle is on track and adjusting the plan to meet release timelines.
• Displaying excellent collaboration within and between various teams.
• Gain understanding of the existing system architecture and flow.
• Understanding the domain knowledge and adapting to an agile environment.
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use in front-end and back-end technologies.
• Constantly looking into new technology and process improvement to keep up with the dynamic pace for the development team. Looking into reusability to increase speed of delivery for projects.
• Partner with the system test & UAT teams to address the identified defects in a timely manner.

This role will be based out of one of the locations listed in the posting. In this role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Four or more years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in design, development, testing in ReactJS, ExtJS, Javascript, Typescript, JQuery.
• Experience in Web UI framework and Web UI development which includes Usability, Page transition, page navigation, image caching, lazy page loading.

Even better if you have:

• A degree.
• Experience with large-scale software architecture, networking and distributed systems and design patterns
• Experience with J2EE and Java technologies, SpringBoot, Reactive Programming, Spring React, GraphQL
• Experience with OOP, SOA, modular code development, micro services, multi-threading.
• Experience with test-driven development, continuous integration and continuous deployment processes.
• Proficiency in JSON and XML, regular expressions, and version control.
• Exposure to AWS architecture, concepts, and tools.
