Job Description:

The Integrated Service Delivery team at Leidos has an opening for a SharePoint Developer. The candidate will serve as a technical expert in the area of software development for not just SharePoint, but other complex operating systems. They will provide support in the areas of writing and maintaining source code, creating and maintaining software applications and applying frameworks involved in a software release. The web based application architectures include web applications, web services, and database operations. An analytical thinker with an established approach to design & problem solving is extremely important. Applicant should be equally comfortable writing new code and refactoring an existing codebase. Candidate must be familiar with Agile Software Development methodologies. Candidate must translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation. Critique code of others by participating in peer reviews. Participate in customer System Team meetings and works on change requests or bugs as assigned by the task lead.

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include the documenting, managing configuration, testing, and bug fixing involved in creating and maintaining applications and frameworks involved in a software release life cycle and resulting in a software product. Expertise in one or more programming language is required. Works to achieve key project/program objectives and deliverables. Develops solutions to complex technical issues and problems that impact multiple area or disciplines. Regularly employs ingenuity and creativity to develop new technical solutions and systems in order to achieve functional objectives. Communicates with internal team members across multiple areas and client team members. May communicate with parties external to the organization (e.g., sub-contractors, vendors, etc.). Works to achieve key project/program objectives and deliverables. Will be responsible for simultaneous project or process activities spanning multiple technical areas.

Responsibilities may also include additional support duties such as, updating and supporting systems by tuning performance, allocating storage space, implementing critical patches, reviewing systems performance logs to identify anomalies and troubleshoot issues.

Basic Qualifications:

Must have 2+ years PowerShell experience. Extensive experience with Windows Server (2016/2019) and a strong understanding of virtualized environments, especially using vSphere. Bachelors’ Degree with 8 years of applicable experience or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.

Pay Range:
