What you'll be doing...

We are part of the Customer Experience & Personalization organization within Verizon's Consumer business unit. As part of the Insight and Delivery Business team you will be responsible to ensure a variety of intelligent assets are created for a personalized and contextual experience with the goal of improving the customer experience. You will partner with key business & IT stakeholders to design & deliver solutions for cross channel experience along with delivering & monitoring overall effectiveness.

Our goal is to deliver a personalization platform that enables fully scalable capabilities for every customer interaction that is AI-led, AI-native - replacing human decision making with machine-scalable probabilistic decision making.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders within a highly matrixed organization to design solutions that provide personalized, contextual experiences for customers in key interaction channels such as desktop applications, Digital, IVR, Chatbot, Email, and SMS.
  • Overseeing the creation of necessary logic within the Personalization (System of Insights and NBX) platform to support the decisioning and targeting of personalized experiences.
  • Working with key stakeholders and Global Technology Solution partners to prioritize strategic initiatives and drive capacity alignment across the ecosystem. Focus on capacity allocation internally & reprioritize on need basis.
  • Facilitating cross-team and-function communication to reduce project handoff cycle time and shorten delivery timelines.
  • Managing all aspects of several projects from inception until implementation to ensure successful completion. This can include but not limited to user experience testing, production validation, escalations, developing timelines and action plans to mitigate potential risks.
  • Delivering concise storyline and strategy updates for key senior updates and operational reviews.
  • Acting as an advocate leading culture initiatives within the organization.
  • Partnering with leaders for budget planning and financial tracking

What we're looking for...

You enjoy defining, building, testing and launching products and services. You develop new methodologies and exploit ground breaking technologies to push our product and service portfolio even further. You're flexible and adaptable, and have sophisticated influence and negotiation skills.

You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to act as a product owner - taking ownership of the end result, even though you may not have direct control over each step of the process.
  • Ability to conduct analysis of project and program delivery metrics to identify bottlenecks or sources of defects in the program's production methodology and perform comprehensive financial analysis illustrating cost, benefits and ROI.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • 3 - 5 years of experience working in software development lifecycle, specifically partnering directly with development teams in an agile format to produce application capabilities required by the business.
  • Pega experience is a plus.
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field a plus.
  • History of work with complex systems and technology solutions.
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning a plus.
  • Wireless and wireline telecom experience a plus, especially within Verizon.
  • Experience with requirements gathering and development of detailed business requirements.
  • Experience in a Product Owner, Experience Designer, Business Architect or similar business role.
  • Extensive organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including communication and stakeholder alignment.
