Manual deployments and configurations are to be considered a last resort.+ Demonstrate and document solutions by using flowcharts, diagrams, code snippets, POCs, and performance instruments.+ Execute agile work plans for iterative and incremental solution delivery.+ Work closely with development and test teams to ensure proper deployment of their code.+ Lead cross-functional teams to define build and deployment architectures that meet customer and technical expectations across a variety of products.+ Work closely with 3rd party vendors and stay ahead of emerging DevOps tools and technologies.+ Have an open mind to understand and shape new solutions based on both emerging & established technologies.+ Ensure high standards are being followed when it comes to design, coding quality, testing, and documenting our DevOps code.+ Develop and deploy solutions on Microsoft Azure.When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we as individuals and as a company are stronger.QualificationsRequired (Basic) Qualifications:+ Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Electrical, Computer or Software Engineering from an accredited institution.+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in the software industry working on enterprise grade, scalable web-based applications and/or distributed systems.+ Minimum of 3 years of experience working on 24x7 applications running in either Microsoft Azure or AWS.+ Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.Preferred Qualifications:+ Masters degree in Computer Science from an accredited institution+ Experience utilizing best practices in software engineering+ Experience with Agile development methodologies and concepts+ Experience developing and deploying applications in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem+ Experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, DevOps, and monitoringPosition Criteria:+ Strong knowledge of DevOps Platform tooling such as Puppet, Chef, Azure DevOps, Terraform, Bamboo, and Docker.+ Extremely knowledgeable about Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery principles from code check-in through code deployment+ Solid understanding of compiled programming languages such as Java and/or C#, Python and their associated IDEs (Visual Studio, Eclipse, etc.)+ Strong capabilities with Shell scripting languages including BASH for Linux/Mac and PowerShell for Windows+ Expertise with Git version control and tool implementation+ Familiarity with security concepts such as encryption and digital certificates+ Solid understanding of relational and non-relational database systems+ Strong problem solving and software debugging skillsWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
