Leidos has an opening for a Systems Administrator for the DCGS-N system sustainment efforts in Suitland, MD.

JOB SUMMARY

Seeking a Systems Administrator to support the Distributed Common Ground System, Navy (DCGS-N) INC 1 Block 2 Ashore system.

The successful applicant will be a system administrator for the DCGS-N Ashore system at ONI.
The position will perform organizational-level DCGS-N shore system administration and hardware maintenance using approved documentation. Tasks include: Managing user and system accounts, Verifying file system configuration and operations, Verifying script, operating system, and application functionality, Backing up and restoring components from backed up configurations, Provisioning workstations, Troubleshooting faulted hardware and removing/replacing Lowest Replaceable Units, Troubleshooting internal and external data flow, interfaces, applications, servers, and restoring each to full mission capability, Powering system on and off, and Performing preventive hardware maintenance.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work as a system administrator responsible for the sustainment of the system installed at ONI.
• Perform day to day tasks to maintain system stability and security posture.
• Provide solutions based on system requirements and work with multiple teams to develop solutions to technical issues that arise.
• Provide onsite troubleshooting internal and external networking as well as data flows for the various software components.
• Maintain current backups should a restoral be necessary.
• Interface with the DCGS-N Service desk for common issues and failures.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• 8+ years of overall related IT experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in related field. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of IAT II Certifications to meet DoD 8140 compliance: CompTIA Security+ (or comparable Security Cert) or higher and certification/accreditation in Environmental Certification.
• Experience with VMware and virtualization.
• Experience in a mixed-server environment composed of Windows Server, RHEL, and Cisco hardware, software, and virtual machines.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment with other highly skilled and diverse individuals
• Active TS/SCI clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with Dell/EMC storage devices, NetApp Storage devices, and Oracle Sparc servers.
• Experience/certifications in Solaris 10/11, Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2016/2019, RHEL, VMWare (vCenter, vSphere, ESXi), Hyper-V, Cisco IOS.
• Experience with WSUS, YUM, and SolarWinds enterprise configuration.
• TCP/IP networking experience including ports, firewalls, access control lists.
• Powershell and bash scripting experience.
• Previous sysadmin experience in a CANES Environment.
• Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance or Distributed Common Ground Station background.
• Basic Intelligence Operations experience (iSToRE, CGS, Socet GXP, GCCS-I3, etc).
