Job Description:

This position will support the DISA GSM-O II Task Number 07 (TN07) Joint Force Headquarters DODIN. GSM-O II provides network operations and cyber defense support to the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) in support of the DoD and COCOMs. The selected candidate shall provide leadership and serve as a stabilizing force to the high intensity, high tempo operations center. In depth technical knowledge, leadership, and analytic skills to address senior command requirements, subordinate command information requirements, as well as supplements operations during a time of need. Requires highest knowledge and mastery of highly advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories, and concepts. Viewed as a subject matter expert and within the field by peers within and outside the organization.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide management, oversite, and supervision, to subordinate contractor personnel as well as act as liaison between said personnel and customer/Leidos leadership.
  • Stay abreast of operational directives and developments across the enterprise to ensure command leadership maintains situational awareness.
  • Provide daily operational updates on all concurrent and pending operations and activities
  • Inform and address CC/S/A/FA headquarter communication and information requirements
  • Coordinate and assess network defense operations with DoD CC/S/A/FA and monitor and report effect of DCO-IDM operations on CC/S/A/FA missions
  • Provide surge support for current operations, to include, but not limited to, Crisis Action Teams, JFHQ-DODIN COOP events and Operation Planning Teams
  • Manage, coordinate, and support the transition of future operations (FuOPS) to current Operations (CuOPS)
  • Document and determine criteria for sufficient acquisition of mission; Identify required operational and technical data and information to ensure successful operation transition and execution.
  • Spearhead the development, integration, coordination, prioritization, and approval of Cyberspace readiness efforts to define current readiness and identify joint operational issues and coordinates recommendations to resolve readiness concerns and deficiencies.
  • Provide oversite during the creation of Cyberspace directives used to communicate to subordinate organizations via orders, Orders are inclusive of all but not limited to, Cyber Tasking Orders (CTO), Execute Fragmentary, Warning and Alert, and General Administration orders.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline and 12 + years of prior relevant experience or master’s degree with 10+ years of prior relevant experience.
  • Currently possess an active DoD TS/SCI clearance and eligible for C/I Polygraph.
  • Currently possess DoD 8750 certification at IAT level II, Security +ce.
  • Experience at Joint Command and/or Operations Center.
  • In-depth understanding of military orders and the military decision-making process.
  • Knowledge of and a proficiency in using Computer and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of policy development and maintenance
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to speak clearly and effectively with customers and technical personnel in high-stress situations
  • A solid understanding of IP addressing and subnetting
  • Understanding of key network monitoring protocols
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite • Knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems, VMWare and Cisco network devices

Preferred Qualifications

  • ITIL V3
  • Experience with DISA and DoD Networks.
  • Demonstrated experience briefing Senior Executive Service (SES) and General Officer/Flag Officer (GO/FO) leadership.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $113,100.00 - $174,000.00 - $234,900.00
