We work closely with executive management to design sales incentive plans that drive behavior to meet the organization's objectives while maintaining our fiduciary responsibility to the company.The planning team has responsibility for compensation plan design, implementation, policies, terms and conditions, variable compensation, and ruling on compensation exceptions. Variable compensation includes establishing guidelines for mix/static variable amounts for all sales incentive plan eligible jobs as well as monitoring all variable compensation related transactions to ensure adherence to guidelines.**Key responsibilities**The Sales Incentive Planning Manager, Global Incentive Compensation is responsible for partnering at a line of business (LOB) level and understanding the business needs, challenges, goals and designing compensation solutions that drive the expected results. The DPM works very closely with Sales, Finance, Sales Ops, GIC Ops and GCA (Global Compensation Administration) to ensure the recommended solutions align to the business expectations, make financial sense and they are able to be implemented and administrated.The Sales Incentive Planning Manager, Global Incentive Compensation is also responsible for determining the best course of action for exceptions to Global Incentive Compensation (GIC) policy, ensuring the business follows policy and any required deviation is properly approved and documented.+ Develop strategic relationships with the LOB leaders.+ Evaluates current year incentive compensation plan results to determine plan effectiveness+ Understand corporate strategy and sales model and can articulate to the business.+ Understands business strategy and sales model and can articulate to corporate.+ Leads in the design and implementation of new incentive compensation plans and programs.+ Communicates and explains incentive compensation plans to sales, management, sales operations and finance as required+ Provides guidance for incentive structure throughout the year, participates in meetings**Personal and interpersonal proficiencies**+ BA/BS required, preferably in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration (MBA Desired)+ 10 years of professional work experience in sales compensation, sales operations, business finance or related field.+ Ability to demonstrate good judgment and make quick decisions+ High attention to detail+ Able to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure+ Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills+ Ability to work independently and in a team environment+ Ability to establish strategic relationships with executive business partners (Executive Credibility)+ Quickly absorbs and adapts to change***All Qualifications are preferred****As part of Oracles employment process candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment screening process, after a conditional offer has been extended.Oracle is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer. Partner with lines of business in the design of compensation models in the support of strategic business initiatives. Develop incentive programs in support of Oracle's sales goals and strategies. Facilitate the improvement of plan issuance including technology improvements. Establish on-target-earnings matrices and guidelines for variable administration.Leads a specialized area which may have diverse functional elements. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, ability to manage processes, and identify cross-functional issues.
