What you’ll be doing...

Responsible for the design and development of medium to highly complex systems. Works with data and project managers to understand systems and consults with customers to understand needs. Developments and implements new systems, corrects software errors in existing systems, and works to improve performance through hardware upgrades. Manages computer systems in a business environment and responsible for resolving technical issues. Knowledgeable in programming, data structures, computer systems, and software engineering.

  • Work closely with business owners and other subject matter experts on requirements gathering and design.
  • Work on the development and delivery of high quality tested code working closely with a team of other developers across multiple locations and time zones.
  • Responsible for code review of other developers.
  • Stand up a new platform to deliver the business functionality and also deliver the end to end CICD pipeline.
  • Ensure code quality and work on timely delivery of fixes for any defects.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes containerization, Spring boot framework for systems Integration, Tomcat or Netty, JDBC, JPA, Maven/Gradle build tools.
  • Experience with DevOps Tool (GIT, Jenkins. JIRA, Ansible.

Even better if you have:

  • Experience with J2EE and Java technologies, Servlet, Web Services, XML, XSLT, SOA & AJAX.
  • Working experience with OOP, SOA, modular code development, micro services, design pattern, multi-threading.
  • Migration from Dynamo DB to Aurora PostgreSQL or Cassandra.
  • Experience with Server back end and API/Service development.
  • Experience with Test Driven development - JUnit, Selenium, Soap Sonar.
  • Experience with JUnit/TestNG, Maven, Oracle, UNIX.
  • Experience with Apigee and Eureka.
  • Familiarity with network protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices in enterprise-class software development and agile methodology.
  • Experience in cloud computing, a Rules Engine such as DROOLS, Spring Integration, Caching, or any similar technology, mobile web experience.
