Job Description:
The Senior Software Developer is responsible for writing and maintaining source code, creating and maintaining software applications and applying frameworks involved in a software release. Duties include computer programming, documenting, managing configuration, testing, and bug fixing involved in creating and maintaining applications and frameworks involved in a software release life cycle and resulting in a software product. Expertise in one or more programming language is required.
The Software Developer will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:
- Develop, update, and validate code to deliver new functionality
- Provide recommendations to improve current systems
- Design, develop, and test new software using DevOps
- Development of Cloudformation scripts to generate network and application infrastructure in a repeatable
- fashion
- Write custom scripts to install and configure code in EC2 instances
- Develop Java and Python applications that leverage Neo4j and Elasticsearch
- Implement NodeJS PM2 for application monitoring and resiliency
- Utilize SAFe agile techniques to manage workload
- Leverage Amazon Web Services
- Create RESTful API
- Assist with daily operations, troubleshooting, debugging, and automated testing
- Assist in the creation of routine documentation
Basic Qualifications
- Posses knowledge of Lean Agile practices
- BS degree with 4-8 years of prior relevant experience
- Ability to utilizes domain knowledge, professional principles and theories to develop advanced concepts, techniques, solutions and standards
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the Sponsor’s entitlement management programs
- SAFe Agilist Certification, AWS certification
- Must currently possess TS SCI with specific polygraph.
