Job Description:

The Senior Software Developer is responsible for writing and maintaining source code, creating and maintaining software applications and applying frameworks involved in a software release. Duties include computer programming, documenting, managing configuration, testing, and bug fixing involved in creating and maintaining applications and frameworks involved in a software release life cycle and resulting in a software product. Expertise in one or more programming language is required.

The Software Developer will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop, update, and validate code to deliver new functionality
  • Provide recommendations to improve current systems
  • Design, develop, and test new software using DevOps
  • Development of Cloudformation scripts to generate network and application infrastructure in a repeatable
  • fashion
  • Write custom scripts to install and configure code in EC2 instances
  • Develop Java and Python applications that leverage Neo4j and Elasticsearch
  • Implement NodeJS PM2 for application monitoring and resiliency
  • Utilize SAFe agile techniques to manage workload
  • Leverage Amazon Web Services
  • Create RESTful API
  • Assist with daily operations, troubleshooting, debugging, and automated testing
  • Assist in the creation of routine documentation

Basic Qualifications

  • Posses knowledge of Lean Agile practices
  • BS degree with 4-8 years of prior relevant experience
  • Ability to utilizes domain knowledge, professional principles and theories to develop advanced concepts, techniques, solutions and standards
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with the Sponsor’s entitlement management programs
  • SAFe Agilist Certification, AWS certification
  • Must currently possess TS SCI with specific polygraph.
