Senior Executive responsible for information design and strategic planning, technology evaluation and acquisition, application management, help desk/troubleshooting, information integrity and security, medical informatics and clinical use of data. Lead the IT department and staff and optimize use of operating and capital financial resources to ensure efficient operation and proper support of clinical and administrative functions. Ensure that the strategic information systems and technology goals match the strategic goals of the organization. Select, manage, and maintain a progressive IT team which can meet the requirements of the organization. Also provide operational oversight of Switchboard. FLSA - Exempt Grade - 67

Qualifications

Education/Qualification Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years? experience as a CIO or similar position in a hospital/healthcare system, including management of staff, familiarity with hardware, software applications, systems and network administration; strong understanding of telecommunications and information technology functionality and their future directions; Prefer CIO certification and Healthcare Executive Certification Skills Excellent customer service skills Strong oral and written communication skills Strategic planning skills Knowledge and experience in streamlining process and infrastructure throughout the organization Ability and experience to interact as a business partner to other departments and executives within the hospital and with external customers/partners Knowledge and experience in systems analysis from a technical and an organizational perspective.
