What you’ll be doing...

As a senior member of the Verizon Partner Solutions Billing Team, you will be responsible for all aspects of the Billing Domain and the Software Development Lifecycle.

  • Support in the capture, refinement and documentation of Business requirements.
  • Play a lead role with partners and other stakeholders.
  • Create and document the logical and physical integration design for the SingleView Billing Platform.
  • Install, upgrade and configure SingleView and potentially other OS or third-party software components required by these applications.
  • Create, document and support execution of test plans and cases.
  • Take ownership of integration between the revenue management platform(s) and the network, BSS and OSS and/or for the complete life-cycle of charging, rating, and billing.
  • Be responsible for technical deliverables assigned to you from estimating, designing, configuring and unit testing these and ensuring these are of a high quality of standard.
  • Identify, communicate and drive improvement initiatives for the processes and tools relating to your role.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong knowledge in C++, Java, Oracle and Billing Domain.
  • Experienced in delivering large enterprise level programs.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Even better if you have:

  • In depth knowledge of latest SingleView version (> 10.0) capabilities and any other Telecom Billing systems.
  • Strong knowledge in C++, Java, Oracle and Billing Domain.
  • Experienced in delivering large enterprise level programs.
  • Knowledge of Mediation processing and products like IME (Intermediate).
  • Experience in design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code.
  • Experienced in SingleView of solid development background and expert level knowledge of Singleview.
  • Strong OSS/BSS requirement gathering and solution experience (Telecom domain).
  • Five or more years of experience in Telecom billing & service provisioning.
  • Thorough knowledge of the standard library, STL containers, and algorithms.
  • Hands on experience in technologies like Spring, Hibernate, REST services.
  • Strong proficiency in C++, with fair knowledge of the language specification.
  • Experience in Oracle PL/SQL programming and should have applied concepts like Triggers, Views, Stored Procedures, Packages, Cursors, Materialized Views, etc.
  • Experience in handling teams and stakeholders and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Analytical skills working with business, development and operations teams.
  • Knowledge end-to-end systems and interfaces and use that knowledge to identify potential impacts as business requirements change over time.
  • Good experience in maintenance and production support.
  • Ability research into new areas and come up with ideas and solutions.
  • Good knowledge and work experience of different architecture patterns, frameworks, application products and tools of J2EE (scripts/queries, batch jobs, troubleshooting Java APIs/services, Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, Web Services (REST, XML, SOAP, JSON), ATG, & OSGI).
  • Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel/
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment/
