This position is for an entry level Network Construction Engineer role in the Verizon Global Network & Technology organization. In this role you will be introduced to the planning & implementation of PSC (power, space & cooling infrastructure) in Verizon's wireless MSC facilities. You will shadow and support various PSC personnel in their day-to-day activities and may be asked to work on special projects.
As a Network Construction Engineer you will:
- Attending weekly Construction status calls and support PSC Engineers.
- Attending vendor site surveys.
- Assisting in review of equipment pre-vet requests & vendor proposals.
- Collecting data and develop special reports related to project management tracking and/or capacity/budget analysis.
You must be currently enrolled in a degree program and be in good academic standing to be considered.
In this hybrid full time position, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager. This hybrid role will be based out of Alpharetta, Georgia.

You'll need to have:
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree majoring in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related majors with a completion date of June 2024.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.
- Willingness to travel and work in Alpharetta, Georgia.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- Coursework or knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems.
- Coursework or demonstrated experience with AutoCAD.
- Demonstrated strong written and communication skills.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
- Basic knowledge of Data Analysis.
