What you’ll be doing...

As a Principal Engineer, you will be managing, supporting the Salesforce & Vlocity CPQ platform. The Principal Engineer will architect and design technical solutions for business problems using Salesforce platform with Vlocity CPQ and architect solutions for the data analytics using Einstein platform and develop monitoring mechanisms to identify delays in ordering and alert support teams. The Principal Engineer will be responsible for building a Salesforce platform based Quote-to-Cash suite of products, including CPQ (Configure/Price/Quote), contract management, revenue and rebate management solutions.

• Providing new-development support, enhancement, production support (break-fix) for the Salesforce platform, such as Vlocity Framework, Lightning Web Component, Aura Frameworks, API interfaces using REST.
• Developing and updating the Salesforce & Vlocity CPQ tools architecture, road map, and strategy, to ensure that future business needs can be met with appropriate tools and technologies.
• Ensuring the integrity of Salesforce & Vlocity CPQ core data by working with internal quoting and ordering systems and vendor partners on bi-directional data exchange among different data sources to/from Verizon partner Solutions.
• Managing Salesforce APIs with different systems through appropriate technical design, development, and maintenance of APIs and microservices.
• Building and maintaining of CICD (Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery) pipeline to deliver code to multiple parallel environments and code reviews.
• Serving as the Salesforce technical SME and contact for any inbound and outbound integrations and microservices to support selling products and repair services.
• Working closely with Business Plan, Build, deliver shippable products, ensure appropriate design is obtained and transition for development, and to ensure the new or enhanced functions are appropriately tested before moving into production.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant work experience.
• Vlocity CPQ platform experience.
• Willingness to travel.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Five or more years of experience with full stack development using Lightning Web Component, Aura Frameworks, Apex for backend, and Salesforce/Cloud Based Framework
• Integrations with REST Framework, Visualforce pages, Network, Session security through programmatic, Transaction security policies; Complex SOSL, SOQL, Dynamic queries; and Jenkins, SVN, Git,Gitlab, SFDX.
