Senior Systems Engineer (Cyber Security)

Job Summary

Amentum is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Systems Engineer to join our engineering team in Dahlgren, VA.

Like learning about new systems and leading edge weapon systems capabilities? Come learn and explore new technologies, new software, new hardware, and development tools in support of the Submarine Launched Ballistic Missile Program. Along the way, advise the Government by researching new concepts and technologies and developing new Fleet capabilities. Help design, review and contribute to the Navy's new system.

Responsibilities:

- Provide Cyber Security Systems Engineering support for the evaluation of new concepts and designs for SLBM groups at NSWCDD supporting Strategic Systems Programs.

- Perform a range of analysis or review tasks related to cyber resiliency of new designs and implementations of the Strategic Weapons System.

- Coordinate and work closely with other engineering and management disciplines to define new cyber requirements.

- Support Cyber Security System Engineering related meetings and track project status.

- Develop, maintain and produce technical documentation and system/subsystem specifications related to cyber security.

- Direct interface and liaison with customers at all levels from concept design and test activities, design reviews and technical working group meetings to comply with cyber requirements and specifications.

- Verify and comply with engineering documentation standards related to cyber.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Engineering Technology or related discipline; or equivalent professional experience and at least 10 years of job-related experience or equivalent.

- Due to the nature of the work, must be a U.S. citizen

- Must have an active Secret security clearance

- Related cyber engineering experience with the Strategic Weapons System

- Systems Engineering experience with both NAVSEA and SSP.
