Transportation Clerk (Job Number: 2217218 )

Position Summary:

Responsible for maintaining the yard management systems inventory levels by conducting physical audits and updating the system accordingly. Additionally, book and track Hot expedite requests per customer demand.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:45 PM

Work Location: 1 Cottonvalley Drive, , Huntsville, AL, 35810

Major Responsibilities:

• Conduct yard audits for freight accuracy and yard safety rules
• Prioritize workload and have flexibility to adjust based on position requirements
• Provide excellent customer service
• Book expedites and track accordingly
• Other projects and tasks assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

• 1 year of customer service experience required
• 1 years of general office experience required
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening.
