Basic Function

This role coordinates intercompany shipments from Stryker US facilities to Stryker international facilities. Performs tasks such as PO management, order status communications, export documentation and transportation routing. Role interacts on a daily basis with Stryker international partners, IBP, Distribution, Quality and other internal teams

Responsibilities

  • Single point of contact for intercompany shipments
  • Provides proactive, accurate communications
  • Processes intercompany orders
  • Collaborates with Supply Planning to secure inventory for intercompany customers
  • Ensures products are registered in destination country
  • Arranges cost effective transportation that meets the customer requirements
  • Prepares and distributes export documentation
  • Supports red and white shipments
  • Processes miscellaneous export shipments
  • Ensures adherence to export regulations
  • Processes returns and customer credits
  • Problem solves and performs root cause analysis
  • Provides back-up to fellow team members
  • Adheres to IATA regulations for dangerous goods shipments
  • Assists to prepare reports as required
  • Performs other requirements as needed

Physical Requirements

  • Sedentary work: exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, etc. Generally involves sitting most the time
  • Must be able to review printed material
  • Must be able to communicate telephonically, via email and via messaging
  • Ability to use common office equipment (e.g. laptop, cell phones, scanners, etc.)
