Sr. Automation and Maintenance Technician (Fri-Sun)

Job Description

We work in the local plant connected to our global manufacturing network to ensure the highest quality of raw materials, intermediates and finished products.

Position Description:

This position is directly involved in the overall maintenance and repair of highly technical equipment in an Industrial/ production environment. This position partners with business leaders to ensure production equipment needs are optimized.

The shift for this position is Friday - Sunday, 5:00AM - 5:30PM. Additional pay is offered for the weekend shift.

Position Qualifications:

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Technical or trade school training in electrical/Automation controls preferred.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Working knowledge and experience in a maintenance manufacturing environment

• Ability to work independently, communicate status and deficiencies.

• Maintain computerized records using current maintenance software.

• Ability to interact with colleagues, customers, and vendors.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Associates Degree with experience in electrical, PLC/Automation Controls.

• Knowledge of freeze-drying products through lyophilization, and high-speed automation.

• Experience with Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5s.

• Experience in SAP and inventory control.

• Experience with AP{Electronic record-keeping system}

• Electrical- Troubleshooting, repair, and installation of electrical equipment and systems. Working knowledge and experience in automation, vision systems, PLCs{programmable logic controls}and HMI{Human machine interfaces}.

• Mechanical- Repair and installation of pumps, gear drives, equipment, and preventative maintenance.

• Utilities— Power and physical plant maintenance of steam, compressed air, water, fuel, electrical, industrial gases,

• Packaging/ Fill- Provide repair and maintenance of mechanized electrical and automated equipment.
