The Delivery Orchestrator / Release Coordinator (Senior Specialist) will coordinate activities across and within product lines to ensure overall delivery of value for the unified business platform for Clinical Trial solutions. The Delivery Orchestrator helps teams effectively make and meet commitments and execute in a tactical and coordinated way. By creating early visibility and management of risks, impediments, dependencies, and assumptions, Delivery Orchestrators enable the team to increase predictability, manage expectations, and optimize capacity.

Key tasks include:

  • Responsible for the delivery of the unified business system suite of solutions specifically related to Clinical Trials.
  • Ensures effective orchestration and alignment across and/or within Product Lines.
  • Works with the Business Technology Partner, Product Line Leaders and Architects to deconstruct higher level outcomes to align to specific Product Line backlogs
  • Ensures solution decisions are in alignment with the strategy and value team outcomes. Enables visibility into the backlogs across Products and Product Lines and how teams are executing against them
  • Provides escalation point for delivery issues or deconflicting dependencies that affect multiple teams across / within product lines
  • Captures, conveys, and manages risks, impediments, assumptions, and dependencies for execution, and focuses on reducing impact early and often
  • Orchestrates cross Product Line Team / Product Team communications

Education:

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, and Science OR in a related field or has relevant experience.

Qualifications:

  • Has the ability to be self-motivated to understand current Clinical business needs and current architecture, platforms and systems.
  • Experience orchestrating complex overlapping priorities and roadmaps
  • Strong experience delivering digital products
  • Strong communication skills with ability to align team & stakeholders on complex roadmaps
  • History of coordinating/aligning overlapping priorities within a Backlog
  • Experience in different delivery methods (agile, traditional) in large organizations
  • Minimum 5 years of technical experience with large scale validated scientific computer systems
  • Minimum of 2 years of engineering and solution delivery with GxP systems
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Drive for results augmented by strong planning and organization skills
  • Deliver customer value - dedicated to understanding and meeting customer needs
  • Partners effectively with and through others to achieve common goals
  • Strong Communication skills for verbal, written, and technical presentations
  • Demonstrates ethics and integrity
  • Team building skills
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple projects.

Preferred:

  • Experience in Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, and/or Safety IT, and relevant business areas
  • Experience with architecture, integration, interfaces, portals, and/or analytics
  • Experience with Veeva Vault Development Cloud, workflow tools (Appian, TIBCO, Active Matrix, Uipath), and API frameworks (Apigee), OpenText, Calyx
  • Experience with validated health authority regulatory (HAR) capabilities, SDLC, inspection and audits
  • Experience working with on premise, Cloud capabilities, and software as a service (SaaS)
