Job Description

As Business Alliance Support Senior Specialist, you will be responsible for providing financial and alliance support for various third-party alliance collaborations, licensing agreements and product divestitures.

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Preparation of various accounting transactions related to collaborations, agreements and product divestitures. Working with other internal and external finance peers and alliance management leads to complete the necessary profit-sharing calculations, financial stewardship responsibilities, and the accounting and reporting associated with these alliance relationships.

  • Preparation of alliance milestones and payments

  • Ad-hoc business support in addressing any partner issues, disputes and negotiations involving financial matters

  • Accounting for our company's Corporate NEB activities with Organon

  • Continual collaboration and exposure with Legal Entities, Accounting Standards, Consolidations, Human Health Division, Research and Development Division, and Manufacturing Division Finance, Treasury, Tax, Audit, Legal, and third-party collaboration partners

  • Completion of monthly/quarterly close responsibilities

  • Support of external, internal and partner audits

Qualifications:

Education Minimum Requirement:

  • BS/BA or higher in Accounting/Finance/Business/Economics required; MBA and /or CPA or equivalent preferred

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant Accounting experience, and knowledge of Financial Statement Presentation, (Management, Legal Entity Statutory, External, and Consolidation reporting)

Preferred skills:

  • Advanced technical skills and system knowledge: Excel , COMET SAP, HFM, FDM, BPC and FSA

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Strong oral and communication skills

  • Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while producing high quality results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

  • Ability to interact and collaborate with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams

  • Strong time management skills and an ability to work under tight deadlines
