We are seeking a Growth and Improvement minded Senior Maintenance Mechanic that can help drive our Strategic Operating Priorities.

Summary, Focus and Procedures

The Senior Maintenance Mechanic is directly involved in the overall maintenance, inspection and repair of highly technical equipment in an Industrial/Production environment and partners with business leaders to ensure production equipment needs are optimized. Safety requirements are strongly enforced; this individual must be attentive to safety of all in the workplace.

Key Functions

  • Work Independently and as a Team member with Integrity | Precision | Accomplishment | Motivational Ambition | Respect | Inclusion

  • Install, troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and conduct preventive maintenance on new and existing facilities equipment, electrical, mechanical, and computerized building management systems

  • Repair equipment and recalibrate

  • Conduct general equipment maintenance, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and repair

  • Participates in the establishment and improvement of new and existing process equipment

  • Maintaining process equipment by developing/initiating PM's | Documenting work using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS - SAP)

  • Work with vendors and parts management agency to maintain the correct level of machine parts

  • Repair and installation of pumps, gear drives, equipment and preventative maintenance, lighting, alarms, building instrumentation, and BMS

  • Packaging/Filling – Provide repair and maintenance of mechanized, electrical and automated equipment

Shift

  • 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM PM Sunday to Friday

  • Potential on-call to maintain equipment as needed outside of scheduled hours

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent 

Required

  • Three (3)+ years of working knowledge and experience in a maintenance manufacturing environment

  • Principled verbal and written communications

  • Ability to work independently, communicate status and deficiencies

  • Maintain computerized records using current maintenance software

  • Interact with colleagues, customers and vendors

Preferred

  • Associates Degree with experience in electrical, PLC/Automation Controls

  • Working knowledge and experience in automation, vision systems, PLCs (programmable logic controllers) and HMIs (human machine interfaces)

  • Technical or trade school training in electrical/automation controls

  • Working knowledge and experience in a maintenance manufacturing environment

  • Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, SAP and inventory control

  • SAP (electronic record keeping system)
