Job Description

Our Animal Health Marketing team takes a customer centric perspective using customer feedback and market intelligence data. Using this data, we design, develop and deploy products, platforms, brands and marketing initiatives that ensure we can improve the health and well-being of animals everywhere.

This position is responsible for supporting the execution of marketing strategy and providing marketing, sales and insight selling solutions towards achieving business objectives. This tactical role works closely with marketing and sales teams to help develop business-building marketing programs, manage and create communications, maintain and grow business driving sales programs.

Key Stakeholders: Brand Managers, Sales Leadership, National Account Director/Managers (CAMs), Channel Management Director/Managers (NAMs)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage field sales asset library to ensure materials are up to date and organized.

• Develop all communications, including weekly memos, from marketing to field sales.

• Oversee sales program platforms and field budgets.

• Maintain and respond to incoming, internal field inquiries.

• Deep understanding of all marketing programs and promotions.

• Develop and execute marketing programs with Corporate Accounts that strengthen MAH’s brand value over time, versus the competition.

• Work in partnership with CAMs/NAMs to develop mutually beneficial programs and actionable solutions that tie back to the brand and sales strategies.

• Establish benchmarks and performance targets to measure the impact, effectiveness and efficiency of communications and programs in achieving objectives.

• Deep understanding of MAH brand equities, how to use them, and build them consistently over time.

• Responsible for reinforcement of brand standards in the field -- an ambassador of MAH’s brands.

• Analyze consumer, customer, distributor and market information to develop initiatives.

• Compile channel selling materials for sales team and distributors and provide sales teams with appropriate customer selling tools.

• Collaborate with marketing peers and the broader organization to ensure linkage between strategies/customer plans.

• Develop and deliver internal presentations. (Approx. 30-50% travel at times).

Desired Skills and Experience

• Must be self-starter and independent thinker with ability to quickly react to dynamic and sometimes ambiguous situations.

• Entrepreneurial approach to driving new business development with a strong results-driven commercial orientation.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills (including strong presentation skills).

• Project Management – Detail oriented with ability to lead cross-functional project teams. Set clear logical project objectives, plans and timelines. Communicate progress and outcomes to project stakeholders.

• Highly collaborative with strong team orientation. Ability to influence key stakeholders.

• Proficiency with PC applications in the areas of Microsoft Teams, Excel, Outlook and Word. Excellent Power Point skills required.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
