Job Description

Our engineering organization partners closely with our Company’s Research & Development (R&D) org to provide innovative solutions that enable new products and capabilities within the Research & Development. To enable this, we are seeking technically strong and motivated Technology Chapter leaders who would be able to help excel the technical capabilities and practices associated with Technology Chapters. As part of the Application Engineering organization, the Chapter Lead will help in creating modern and future-looking technology capabilities to drive our business further.

Responsibilities:

As a Technology Chapter Lead, you would be responsible for setting the direction of the chapter in terms of the practices and technologies related to the chapter. In addition to that, you would also lead any technology teams that are part of your chapter. In guiding your team, you would be providing technical oversight to products and solutions being developed.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Own Chapter Playbook that defines the practices, methodologies and technologies within the Technology Chapter.

  • Lead technology teams and provide Technical Oversight on development initiatives.

  • Manage and mentor engineers aligned to the chapter.

  • Stay abreast with emerging technologies and practices as they related to the Technology Chapter.

Prerequisites:

  • 8+ years in Information Technology.

  • Has performed solution implementation Design.

  • Has built solutions that leverage AWS cloud.

  • Worked with JS Frameworks like React, Angular, Node.

  • Worked with C#, Java or Python.

  • Expertise with Jenkins, Bitbucket, JIRA & Confluence.

  • Experience with Veeva is a plus.

Other Skills:

  • 5+ years leading programs in Agile (Scrum) project methodology.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience, leading teams through influence.

  • Strong analytical thinker and problem-solving skills.

Minimum Education:

  • B.A./B.S.
