Senior Specialist, SD&PM External Supplier Change Control

We work in the local plant connected to our global manufacturing network to ensure the highest quality of raw materials, intermediates and finished products.

Our Sourcing team partner with the business to ensure efficient acquisition of goods and services that enables the commercialization of our medicines, vaccines and Animal Health products. We collaborate internationally and are grouped into center-led categories and regional operating teams.

Position Description:

The Senior Specialist, External Supplier Change Control, will work under the direction of Supplier Development & Performance Management (SD&PM) Associate Director to:

• Centrally receive and track all changes for external direct material suppliers to support global External Supplier Change Control

• For each change, perform an impact assessment to identify the change level, impacted manufacturing sites and impacted products

• Notify the appropriate manufacturing sites and divisional groups of the change and track to completion

• Interact with Direct Material External Suppliers

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize External Supplier Change Control

Position Qualifications:

Education Minimum Requirement:

• Bachelors degree in Biology, Chemist or equivalent field of study

Required Experience and Skills:

• Minimum 3+ years experience in Technical, Quality, Procurement, Manufacturing Operations, or related Business Operations working with products or processes is required

• Demonstrated Quality, Technical and / or Manufacturing experience in the areas of pharmaceutical, medical device, and / or vaccine manufacturing or packaging

• Ability to work within a matrix organization and leverage expertise from other functions and departments

• Proven self-starter

• Ability to develop and / or improve supplier relationships

• Knowledge of Supplier Quality Management Systems

• Knowledge of cGMPs, technical writing, data management collection and analysis

• Possess excellent interpersonal, inclusion, and communication skills

• Appreciates and respects diversity, cultures, and norms

• Facilitates business negotiations in a professional manner

• Ability to Prioritize, Align and Simplify

• Works independently with all levels of the organization, and has demonstrated the following skills: Rapid / Disciplined decisions, Acts with courage and candor, Drives results, Escalation of issues / concerns to management, as appropriate

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Experience with external supplier change control

• Demonstrated ability to work with Suppliers

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

• Six Sigma Greenbelt
