Maybe that’s you.<br> <br>The Executive Director – Institutional, Hospitals & Clinics (IHC) leads the development and execution across the organization for product and service activities related to the assigned portfolio of products aligned to the Institutions, Hospitals and Clinics distribution channel. Working across the commercial and other key enabling functions, this key role will create a company-wide understanding of the strategy and key performance indicators to drive company-wide, high-performance product/service teams. This person leads a high performance, cross-functional aligned team to develop and deliver against expectations. The role is accountable for championing and driving business strategies within the assigned business to optimize profitability, sales, market share and revenue growth in both the short and longer term. The individual in this role will provide effective leadership and alignment of priorities across key internal functions such as Marketing, Sales, BD&L, Development and NTO. <br> <br>Your key responsibilities:<br>• Develops and implements annual business strategies to achieve financial targets of business through strong partnership with overall key customers/accounts and total portfolio optimization. Develops strategies to mitigate or build upon competitor offerings; develops value proposition based on insights to support pricing and market access strategy across customer groups<br>• Develops a comprehensive set of sales forecast scenarios and sensitivity analyses; implements demand plan for assigned products. Ensures annual expense budget is met and maintained within budget parameters. Makes sure short and long-term market share targets are met. Closely partners and aligns with stakeholders including finance and supply chain, as well as production sites on budgets, latest estimates, forecasts, accruals, and customer demand, to bring value for Sandoz and Novartis <br>• Leads the development of the overall strategy of the IHC business, leading the implementation of effective strategic and tactical plans by working through the customer and market access organizations. Finds opportunities for life cycle management; proactively cultivates internal and external pipeline (product launch), identifies white-space opportunities and optimizes the product portfolio and pipeline by partnering with BD&L and Development.<br>• Acts as business champion to create focus, alignment and enthusiasm both internally (BD&L, Development, Supply Chain and Finance) and with external customers and agencies.<br>• Drives sales team to optimize sales with customers. Continually strives for competitive advantage, both current and future by demonstrating in-depth knowledge of customer, competitors and market while upgrading on a continuous basis the sales and marketing abilities of team. Effectively handles and maintains relationships with the key customers<br><br>This position is based in Princeton, NJ. (There may be some restrictions based on legal entity). Please note that this role would not provide relocation as a result. The expectation of working hours and travel (domestic and/or international) will be defined by the hiring manager.
