Executive Support Product Owner Job Description

Our IT team operates as a business partner proposing ideas and innovative solutions that enable new organizational capabilities. We collaborate internationally to deliver the services and solutions that help everyone to be more productive and enable innovation.

This position is a technical position with people leadership and service delivery management.

The primary responsibility is:

  • Owns and manages the Executive support team through the duration of the product lifecycle

  • To manage the Executive IT Service which provides 24x7 technical support and services for the Executive Committee (EC) and their direct reports in a manner that is above all standards.

  • Defines the overall product vision and strategy, with a keen focus on value, business outcomes, and user experience

  • Makes product decisions, and ensures decisions align with product strategy.

  • Develops and regularly calibrates metrics for the product.

  • Drives continuous product discovery to understand user needs and translate that solutions and product backlog.

  • Sets and communicates high-integrity roadmap commitments that have been assessed collaboratively with the delivery squad(s) in terms of value, feasibility, usability, and viability

  • Creates, maintains, and continuously prioritizes the product backlog to maximize value delivery and its long-term sustainability (including stability, compliance, and other aspects appropriately).

  • Ensures that the backlog is transparent, visible, and understood for all stakeholders.

Activities include:

  • Must have top notch customer service skills and be willing to put the customer first in all scenarios.

  • Will lead a team of 8-10 direct employees as well as a network globally of support vendors and contractors to provide the highest level of customer service.

  • Deployment and configuration of standard desktops, laptops and mobile devices.

  • Collaboration with Managed Print organization to provide printing services to our company Executives.

  • Provide remote office support for EC members including home office equipment, internet access and security systems.

  • Provide onsite meeting support where applicable as well as board level support when needed.

  • Must have demonstrated experience and ability to coordinate and manage large scale off-site Executive Committee and Board of Director meetings and work independently while off-site.

  • Must understand the process of providing support at a location not owned by our Company including planning and execution.

  • Must be able to assist executives with preparation of presentation which requires advanced MS PowerPoint skills.

  • Must have the ability to think ahead and anticipate needs and/or issues/problems that may arise to mitigate any technical risks.

  • Must have a clean history of ethical, honest and professional behavior and understand discrete handling of confidential company information.

  • Will need to provide end-to-end computing support for our Company's Corporate Aviation department.

  • Activities include creating and publishing of internal SOP and reference material for the executives. Troubleshooting aircraft outages and restoring service by collaborating with Network Services.

  • Must provide technical consulting services as required, the candidate must have strong public speaking, presentation, training and communication skills.

  • Must be able to conduct 1-on-1 and group training for the executives and their admins.

  • Will be expected to establish and maintain working relationships within Technical Services and across all the departments within the IT organization.

  • Will function as a leader in the organization and provide mentoring to other members of the team.

  • He/she will be able to perform activities such as facilitating meetings, managing resources and support activities, escalation of executive related issues to IT senior leaders and to provide technical and operational leadership to the team.

Education Minimum Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum of 10 years in customer service and client technology support experience

  • 4 years executive support

  • 2-3 years’ experience managing a product

  • 4 years in the Agile Methodology

  • Ability to propose, develop, and implement visions for a substantially re-imagined user experience

  • Experience in managing geographically distributed squads preferred​

  • Experience in different delivery methods (agile, traditional) in large organizations

  • Experience with product management techniques such as strategy, road mapping etc.

  • Experience aligning the organization and communicating complex technical decisions

  • Strong customer service and analytical skills.

  • Ability to analyze data, develop insights, visualize trends, and drive change.

  • Mobile device administration, core and optional software layers.

  • Possess highest standards of Ethics, Integrity, Compliance and Financial Stewardship

  • Highly effective written and oral communications skills with the ability to communicate with peers, customers, and management.

  • Experience with people leadership, team building and collaborating with others

  • Ability to demonstrate technical resourcefulness and ability to make timely decisions

  • Ability to handle stress and pressure with grace.

  • Knowledge of ITIL framework and standard SDLC processes. · Technical certifications in MS technologies preferred

  • Working knowledge of global network, information security and collaboration tools. (ie Cisco, MS Office 365, Windows 10, Defender)

  • Familiarity with project management
