Description: Vaccines are a large and growing part of our Company's core business that will help deliver growth for the company now and into the future. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the US Vaccines Portfolio Marketing team to solidify the portfolio strategy, team value proposition internally and externally, and to continue to drive the US vaccine recovery and vaccination expansion goals. This role will manage a team of four direct reports (3 Directors and 1 AD), and will be accountable for leading the overall portfolio strategy and supporting the growth of our vaccine portfolio and each brand across large organized customer segments including Payer, Pharmacy, Integrated Delivery Networks, Federally Qualified Health Centers, Employers and Public Health Stakeholders, This ED role will oversee the development and execution of the US Vaccines Access & Reimbursement strategy, oversee the business prioritization for successful utilization of the Portfolio Vaccines Promotional Review Team (PRT) and Digital Engagement Team (DET)and drive all portfolio marketing as it pertains to organized customers listed above. The successful Portfolio Marketing Executive Director will work collaboratively with all US and Global Support functions to ensure aligned and non-redundant work is efficiently and effectively designed and executed.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Sponsor and solidify the vision for the US Vaccines Portfolio Marketing Team (VPMT)
  • Lead direct reports to evolve strategy and vision for their respective segment areas within the Vaccines Portfolio Marketing Team, including the OCAR (Organized Customer Access & Reimbursement) Team, Retail Pharmacy marketing team, Public Health Strategy & Engagement Team and the Strategic Implementation Team.
  • Collaborate with the shared resource functions across the US Market to ensure a unified approach that optimizes all our vaccines assets, now and in the future, across each of our key customer segments
  • Manage a team of highly talented individuals and build on a strong culture with direct reports and skip-level reports to optimize vaccines’ performance, modeling the Ways of Working, while maintaining a high-functioning, compliant organization and driving individual team members’ professional development.
  • Engage policy team to identify relevant policy levers to support portfolio needs
  • Partner with brand, Medical Affairs, and CORE teams to ensure real world evidence plan is fully aligned with portfolio priorities and HECON data is appropriately leveraged to optimize decisions associated with the vaccines business
  • Partner with IT, Business Insights Management team, Data & Analytics and Strategic Alliances teams to identify and lead innovative projects as business representative for US Vaccines.
  • Manage any multi-brand or portfolio initiatives that contribute to our US vaccines business which are not supported in other parts of the organization.
  • Collaborate and establish a close partnership with customer-facing teams, brand teams and Vaccine contracting team to ensure aligned and connected strategies

Education Minimum Requirement:

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree
  • Preferred: Advanced Degree (MBA)

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum of 10 years combined marketing, sales, marketing support or related experiences in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Leadership: Proven track record of leading a large organization, leading change, etc.
  • Segment Knowledge: Customer-facing or marketing experience with organized customer segments supported by VPMT, especially Payer/Employer and/or Pharmacy.
  • Compliance: Strong track record of compliant management of teams
  • Demonstrated Results: Proven ability to deliver results and change business trajectory
  • Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills, both within HH as well as cross-divisionally
  • Communication: Ability to clearly articulate messages/information across the enterprise and to all levels
  • Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to analyze complex data and create clear consumer and customer centric strategies
  • Influencing Experience and Credibility: Proven ability to build credibility and influence stakeholders.
  • Enterprise Leadership – ability to lead across functions and roles
  • Challenging the status quo – proven ability to drive change, challenge current ways of thinking and find constructive solutions
  • People Development – proven ability to develop teams, address performance, and promote talent
  • Marketing/Marketing Support: High level understanding of brand marketing/commercial evolution including Digital Engagement Teams, Promotion Review Teams, the Agile process, and annual Financial/Profit Planning.
  • Understanding of the U.S. Vaccine Market
  • Understanding of the U.S. Integrated Account Management and Policy organizations
