Enterprise IT is an organization within our Company's IT and this function unites the SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Product Team with remit for enabling global ERP processes (Order to Cash, Source to Settle, Finance Business Management, and Supply Chain Management) and the IT teams accountable for delivering digital strategies for Human Resources (HR), Finance, Global Procurement, and Global Facilities.

The SAP ERP Product and Portfolio Lead will be responsible for a diverse set of global teams focused on business value definition, investment planning, user performance, business change management, and program/project management across a complex IT portfolio, providing leadership to the SAP ERP Product Team.

This position has overall accountability for multiple functions enabling the planning and delivery of various components of Enterprise IT. These enablement functions will ensure successful:

  • Achievement of business outcomes for the SAP instance at our Company which covers $40B+ in revenue, 70.000 users, all internal manufacturing sites network and integration with external manufacturing capabilities, demand and supply management planning, Clinical manufacturing and supply, order management, direct and indirect purchasing, and employee expense management.
  • Integrated value-based investment planning, program/project planning and multi-year roadmaps across the Enterprise IT functional areas including all ERP business processes and eventually expanding to HR, Facilities, Finance and Procurement.
  • Orchestration of SAP/ERP focused cross company governance bodies and process steward organizations for the purposes of business outcome definition, prioritization, project risk management, business readiness, communications etc.
  • Delivery and pull through of business outcomes for SAP enabled business processes managing and delivery work coordination across the enterprise globally.

A successful candidate for this position will frequently demonstrate an ability to:

  • Understand, harmonize, and prioritize business capability needs defining initiatives value proposition to drive proper investment within the enterprise
  • Define and communicate a strategic vision and inspire teams to execute despite adversity; requires skills to anticipate and remediate risks at a global and enterprise scale.
  • Partner with global business units to plan and orchestrate business readiness and adoption of ERP/SAP process change.
  • Provide leadership and coaching to teams executing on solution delivery and business enablement around the world and specifically in Prague and Singapore IT Hubs.

This position will have senior business relationships (SVP, VP, and ED) and managerial responsibilities for staff on a direct and shared reporting relationship and an organization of approximately 65-75 employees including direct and indirect reports plus additional 25-30 contractors; this position will participate as an active member of the Enterprise IT leadership team, influencing the future direction of the Enterprise IT organization, talent strategies, technology and realization. It’s also expected to be an active member of the IT Senior Leadership Network, shaping and influencing the IT organization at large.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead a team of IT professionals to define a multi-year digital capability and investment roadmap for SAP (Order to Cash, Source to Settle, Finance Business Management, and Supply Chain Management) aligned to business outcomes.
  • Responsible for orchestrating cross divisional/enterprise governance bodies with senior business and IT leaders
  • Partner with global business units to plan and orchestrate business readiness and adoption of process change across (Order to Cash, Source to Settle, Finance Business Management and Supply Chain Management)
  • Interact and facilitate relationships with other divisional IT organizations, particularly on demand management, priorities, and leveraging the SAP Platform.
  • Leading teams executing demand management, programs and project management, cutover and release management, user change management, data migration, end user training, user performance and value realization.
  • Orchestrate the partnership with strategic third parties focused primarily on SAP.
  • Continually assess team talent and sourcing strategies and define, execute, and monitor against a global talent acquisition and people management plan.
  • Leading working teams in partnership with IT Security, Corporate Audit, Manufacturing Quality groups to ensure Solution Delivery Lifecycle and GXP and SOX requirements are met.
  • Partner with finance and IT portfolio management organizations to achieve operational and portfolio budgetary commitments.
  • Partner across IT and Supplier Management organization to determine build vs buy skill sets and appropriate sourcing.
  • Travel will be required (~25%).

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelors Degree

Required:

  • 15 years of relevant IT experience including
  • 10 years of SAP experience

Required:

  • Experience in leading large transformation initiatives, particularly SAP S4 and the suite of SAP cloud products
  • Excellent communication and Collaboration Skills in global environment
  • Drive for results - Strong planning and organization skills
  • Delivers customer value - committed to understanding and meeting customer needs
  • Collaborates effectively with and through others to achieve shared goals
  • Effective orchestrating enterprise prioritization
  • Ethics and integrity

Preferred:

  • Awareness of change management methodology at scale
  • Demonstrated success working across various cultures and geographies
  • Experience with both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies and their application in an SAP context
