Job Description

The Associate Director of US Oncology Healthcare Professional (HCP) Customer Strategy will report to the Director of US Oncology Portfolio Marketing Strategy and Operations. This role will have responsibility for the development of the Healthcare Professional Customer Experience, Customer Engagement and Multi-tumor Customer Strategy across the Portfolio. The role will use the customer lens and insights from HCP customers to deliver greater customer-relevant precision marketing. The role will:

  • Define meaningful customer segments that prioritize and maximize multi-tumor customer opportunities. This responsibility includes defining the greatest tumor opportunities for each customer/customer segment as well, as defining above-tumor opportunities. This role will also define the strategies and relevant tactics that drive behavior changes with Healthcare Professional customer segments.

  • Based on insights gleaned from Healthcare Professional customers, their desired experience, and needs for information, education and/or services, this role will define the content strategy and collaborate with tumor teams and other relevant teams to develop and meet customers’ content needs across a continuum of needs in managing their patients. This role will develop a framework for assessing customers’ content needs, how our company can support those needs and work with stakeholders to develop the relevant content (promotional messages, services and/or solutions).

  • Drive the implementation of our multi-tumor omnichannel personalized Healthcare Professional engagement strategy that defines and provides guidance on tumor priorities by customer segment, understands capacity limits of our customers holistically across Personal and Non-Personal channels and, content/service needs/preferences through Personal and Non-personal channels to develop a holistic customer engagement strategy. The role will work with the sales and digital marketing organizations to collaboratively map the optimal engagement mixes for personal and non-personal engagements based on individual customers’ preferences and needs in order to drive the optimal experience for customers.

  • Define customer experience priorities and either initiate or collaborate with relevant teams across our company to realize an optimal Healthcare Professional customer experience for Healthcare Professionals. Serve as the Healthcare Professional “voice of the customer” across teams servicing the needs of Healthcare Professionals.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across our portfolio and pan-tumor teams, tumor teams across our company's Oncology brands, digital innovations team, and the US market.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree

Skills Required:

  • 3+ years marketing experience with Customer engagement and/or customer experience marketing

  • Strong market strategy development skills

  • Digital marketing and/or sales experience

  • Strong analytical acumen

  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment

  • Learning agility

  • Strong foundation in building market strategy

  • Ability to work through white space

  • Communication skills

Desired Skills:

  • 2+ years Pharmaceutical Oncology experience

  • 2+ years of Strategic Planning
