Job Description

New hires in office-based roles in the US & Puerto Rico will be required, subject to applicable law, to demonstrate that they have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or qualify for a medical or religious exemption to this vaccination requirement that can be accommodated without an undue burden to the operation. As an MBA intern in our Human Health division, you will be assigned challenging projects on teams across various functions in marketing and commercial operations responsible for prescription medicines and vaccines. We are focused on driving growth and patient impact and fulfilling our company’s mission to save and improve lives.

Types of work may include:

  • Strategic development and realization

  • Addressing key strategic issues, evaluating choices, developing recommendations, and increasing the rigor of decision making

  • Producing insight into competitors, customers, and industry trends

  • Building upon commercial and strategic analytic frameworks to improve alignment, growth, and efficiency

  • Conducting systemic research of the global healthcare industry

  • Collaborating across teams and key stakeholders to develop a network of subject matter experts and data sources contributing to a project’s success

  • Delivering executive level insight to senior management

Required Education and Skills:

  • Candidate must hold BA or BS degree .

  • Candidate must be currently enrolled in an MBA program.

  • Candidate must be registered for the Fall 2021 Semester and must have completed one year of MBA coursework by summer 2022

  • Candidates must have strong communications skills; ability to communicate complex issues/dynamics in a clear and easy to understand manner

  • Candidates must have strategic mindset & critical thinking ability

  • Candidates must be highly developed interpersonal, written, verbal and negotiation/influencing skills

  • Candidates must have proven ability to collaborate, manage projects, and organize one’s work; ability to act with minimal supervision, prioritize activities and manage multiple tasks within deadlines

  • Candidate must have experience working on cross-functional teams

  • Candidates must have proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite

  • Candidates must be able to commit to an internship assignment for up to (12) weeks beginning in May or June of 2022.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Candidates should have business, data analytics, and/or digital marketing experience

  • Candidates should have experience with various business intelligence (BI) platforms

  • Candidates should have experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech or other related regulated industries
