Job Description

New hires in office-based roles in the US & Puerto Rico will be required, subject to applicable law, to demonstrate that they have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or qualify for a medical or religious exemption to this vaccination requirement that can be accommodated without an undue burden to the operation. Our Manufacturing Operations teams are the people that make our products. We work in the manufacturing plants with a “Safety First, Quality Always” mindset striving for continuous improvement. We work in the local plant connected to our global manufacturing network to ensure the highest quality of raw materials, intermediates and finished products.

We are seeking a growth and improvement minded Biologics Manufacturing Operator that can help drive our Strategic Operating Priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Completing manufacturing operations while complying with safety and compliance procedures

  • Operating and monitoring manufacturing equipment and processes using computerized and manual systems

  • Conducting simple maintenance tasks on equipment

  • Initial troubleshooting on equipment and processes

  • Maintaining operating areas in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Housekeeping Procedures

  • Use of common tools and equipment

Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent with five years of Manufacturing, Industrial, Military or Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance OR

  • Associate Degree in a Science, Technology, Manufacturing or Mechanical (STEM) field or other relevant science/engineering program, with two years in manufacturing OR

  • STEM related certification from an accredited college/university, with two years in manufacturing

  • Biotechnology or clean room facility

  • Following very specific procedures and documenting the completion of critical steps
