Job Description

New hires in office-based roles in the US & Puerto Rico will be required, subject to applicable law, to demonstrate that they have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or qualify for a medical or religious exemption to this vaccination requirement that can be accommodated without an undue burden to the operation. The Human Health U.S. Division (HH-US) has undergone significant transformation over the past few years, focused by an effort to shape Our Company’s future by demonstrating new ways of working, commercial agility, enhancing our capabilities and being more adaptive to changing market needs.

Position Description:

The Commercial Agility and Transformation Director (HH-US, Commercial Agility & Launch Excellence) role will be a member of the US Strategy and Commercial Model Innovation (SCMI) department. SCMI partners across the US enterprise with an explicit focus on cultural transformation, commercial agility, operating model effectiveness and innovation.

The Commercial Agility and Transformation Director provides talent with an opportunity to build an enterprise mindset, while working with amazing colleagues across the US Market’s Chronic Care, Hospital Specialty, Oncology and Vaccine business units. The ideal candidate is someone with strong commercial acumen, who comprehends Agile Ways of Working and can inspire meaningful change, to accelerate US commercial model transformation.

Primary Activities:

  • Commercial Agility
    • Ability to guide senior management, key stakeholders and teams on how to use Agile strategies and practices to deliver outcomes that translate into commercial impact
    • Act as a Commercial Agility coach to senior management and teams; often supporting Marketing Leaders, COEs and Scrum Masters.
    • Facilitates and Coaches Agile events such as Quarter Business Reviews, Objectives and Key Results and Team Maturity assessments
    • Accelerates Agile Role and Agile Team Maturity
  • Launch Excellence
    • Partner with Global Launch Excellence, Commercial Leadership and Marketing Leadership to ensure there is strategic alignment and transparency across enterprise-wide product launch teams
    • Develops agile launch strategies and methods to accelerate cross-functional team execution
  • Transformational Priorities
    • Partners with the Commercial Model Innovation Team across all phases of commercial model capability development
    • Ability to influence change across all levels

Position Qualifications:

Education Minimum:

  • B.A./B.S.
  • M.A./M.S., preferred

Prerequisites:

  • 5+ years of commercial business experience in roles such as Marketing, Sales, Strategy & Planning and Commercial Operations
  • Has Worked in Commercial Model Innovation and Transformation
  • Ability to execute comprehensive transformational projects across a broad group of stakeholders (COEs, strategic partners, executive sponsors, etc.)
  • Demonstrated Commercial Agility knowledge, working directly with Commercial Leaders, teams and COEs to adapt quickly to market changes and business needs
  • Strong executive presence, facilitation and communication skills

Preferred:

  • Worked in Brand Marketing
  • Worked in Product Launches
  • Multiple Agile certifications
