About the Role: As Sr. Director Enterprise Product and Vertical Marketing, you will lead a team of 5+ product and vertical marketers that perform the ideation and execution of all marketing activity focused on specific products and select industry verticals. This includes end-to-end responsibility for all product launches designed to maximize awareness and sales performance. This role requires constant collaboration with various teams across the business including Enterprise Product Management and Development, Enterprise Sales, Pricing and Offer Management, Sales Operations, and all other functional areas within the Enterprise Marketing team. This is an engaging and hands-on role and the Sr. Director Enterprise Product and Vertical Marketing, reporting to the VP of Strategic Marketing, is an individual who excels while operating at the strategic and the tactical level. This role is highly visible and will have direct interaction with Windstream’s C-Suite executive team as well as executives across the industry. This role is a full-time, remote-working position with less than 25% travel. What You’ll Do: - Lead the team through the sourcing of data for the products and verticals to quantify market demand, sales and revenue actuals and sales pipeline to understand the trends of the market and the business - Lead the team through the identification and execution opportunities to improve seller knowledge and activation for products and verticals - Drive the identification and execution of opportunities to improve sales and grow profitable revenue leveraging the full marketing mix including digital campaigns and events, in-person events, sell-with and sell-through strategies and the continuous evolution of the messaging and positioning for the products and verticals - Partner with Enterprise Sales to provide direct deal support, industry expertise and account acquisition strategy ideas for top customers and prospects. - Remain current with the changing industry trends and Windstream’s capabilities - Act as a company spokesperson domain expert with analyst firms, industry trade press, trade organizations, industry influencers and deliver high profile presentations to large scale audiences at events including industry conferences - Lead the research and understanding of target accounts’ business objectives as they are relevant to Windstream’s services and articulate Windstream’s capabilities - Drive the development and leadership of marketing plans for new and existing product initiatives - including target setting, product messaging, demand generation and sales enablement activities - Lead the development of positioning, buyer personas and targeted messaging and value propositions that differentiate Windstream Enterprise products and solutions in the market - Conduct market sizing and targeting in collaboration with Product Management - Manage competitive intelligence, undernagement, and SLAs - Lead the development and execution of sales enablement tools, training and communications to demonstrate and quantify the business value of Windstream's solutions - Support Enterprise Sales and channel partners in sales and marketing
