Job Description

New hires in office-based roles in the US & Puerto Rico will be required, subject to applicable law, to demonstrate that they have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or qualify for a medical or religious exemption to this vaccination requirement that can be accommodated without an undue burden to the operation. Our Marketing team are passionate about bringing our medicines and vaccines to our customers around the world. Through digital listening and patient analytics, we are able to understand our customers’ needs and strive to provide solutions to meet them.

The Director, Marketing - G9 Ecosystem and Masterbrand will focus on driving efforts in support of prioritized opportunity spaces with key Ecosystem external stakeholders and will also have responsibility for a Masterbrand strategic exploration for G9.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading, as Chief Product Owner, the Ecosystem Agile Team (A-Team) to:

    • uncover insights

    • identify and prioritize opportunities within the team and across G9

    • develop strategies/solutions/tactics for key external stakeholders in the Ecosystem (e.g., HPV Action Plan, Pharmacy referral strategy/stocking, Recovery 2.0)

    • formulate and track Objectives and Key Results

    • report out results (e.g. Sprint reviews, QBRs)

    • create a positive team culture

  • Ensuring integration of programs across cohorts when needed (i.e., Head and Neck Launch)

  • Collaborating with Adolescent and Adult Chief Product Owners as well as DET Product Owners

  • Creative and maintaining Dashboard for G9

  • Overseeing budget

  • Managing field execution and data realization direct report

Education:

  • Required: BA/BS

  • Preferred: MBA or equivalent

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant marketing disciplines.

  • Strong prioritization and project management skills with attention to detail.

  • Exceptional prioritization, collaboration and communication skills.

  • Strong marketing acumen.

  • Strategic, analytical and innovative.

  • Proactive and self-directed.

  • Effective at navigating whitespace opportunities.

  • Ability to be flexible and effective across diverse marketing opportunities.

  • Ability to translate complex scientific issues into communicable strategies and messages.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Working across multiple brand marketing, sales and support roles.

  • Vaccines experience.

  • Motivating and leading teams with and without authority.

  • Scrum and/or agile marketing principles

  • Prior scientific or medical education experience.

  • Subpart E is a plus
