The Director for the U.S. Oncology Omnichannel Strategy and Operations reports to the Head of the U.S. Oncology Omnichannel Strategy & Innovation Team.

The Director for the U.S. Oncology Marketing Omnichannel Strategy and Operations will be responsible for providing strategic and executional oversight, leadership and management in the development and implementation of an omnichannel vision and roadmap for U.S. Oncology to optimize customer experiences with our company and close education gaps of our company's medicines.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Partner with US Oncology Marketing and US Human Health Strategy & Commercial Operations to provide omnichannel subject matter expertise to develop a customer-centric, omnichannel vision and roadmap for US Oncology
  • Partner with engagement analytics, IT, Channel Strategy and Engagement, and other US Market Commercial functions to translate US Oncology marketing and commercial operations’ vision into implementable requirements to lead the development and execution of a multi-year omnichannel roadmap for US Oncology to continue the organization’s customer centricity journey
  • Recognized expert at designing and delivering human-centered experiences that solve a specific customer need and strategically improved patient outcomes. This includes analyzing and synthesizing client research, recommending and designing customer insight work and translating secondary sources into relevant insights to support Oncology marketing strategy
  • Evolve current Oncology Next Best Action/Omnichannel capabilities with incremental data sources/delivery mechanisms to optimize value proposition, while maintaining alignment with new capabilities/experiences coming online from the Omni-channel roadmap.
  • Socialize Oncology Omnichannel experiences and roadmap with our US Market/Global Partners and collaborate with Strategic Planning, IT, Marketing Operations, Data Insights & Analytics teams to advance organizational capabilities toward achieving that vision. Hold internal partners accountable for timely deliverables and integrations supporting our articulated quarterly OKRs for the Omnichannel roadmap.
  • Develop/manage technology and strategic vendor relationships to inform omnichannel capability roadmap development/evolution
  • Establish and manage development plans for team members and coach/mentor team members to enable them to grow their capabilities, enable long term career growth, and achieve US Oncology organizational goals
  • Act as connective tissue with the other Directors within the Omnichannel Strategy & Innovation Team

Position Location: Upper Gwynedd, PA with hybrid work model (combination of in-office/work from home). Relocation assistance provided.

Education Minimum Requirements:

  • Required: Bachelor's degree
  • Desired: Master's degree

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum of twelve (12) years marketing strategy, customer experience, multi-channel marketing with an emphasis on omnichannel digital strategy that optimizes overall customer experience to drive business results.
  • Understanding of US Healthcare Systems, including the nature of business interactions & dynamics between payers, regulators, physicians, and plan members
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem solving, analytical critical thinking and planning skills
  • Proficient at leading diverse cross functional teams without formal authority and effectively engaging senior management
  • Demonstrated strength to function and influence others effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, with frequently changing priorities
  • Strong business acumen with ability to translate complex concepts clearly and concisely to broad audiences.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills (written & verbal)

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Director Level of Marketing or equivalent from Agency/Consultancy
  • Oncology pharmaceutical marketing experience
  • Omnichannel marketing experience
  • Agile development team experience
