Marketing Chapter Lead

The Marketing Chapter Lead is the direct manager of marketers responsible for hiring, onboarding, professional development, and performance evaluation. They work on coaching and mentoring chapter members to the overall success of the teams and furthering the goals of the agile transformation and new ways of working. They guide individuals within their chapter to build the appropriate skills and capabilities needed to achieve business unit priorities and for the ongoing successful adoption and execution of agile principles and practices. They formalize sharing of standard tools, learning, and best practices for marketers. They will collaborate closely with the Pack Leads and other Chapter Leads.

The successful Chapter Lead will employ characteristics of a Leader who serves, with a passion for developing both capabilities and people, and enjoys working with and leading a dynamic, culturally diverse group of employees focused on creating an even more responsive, customer centered organization, enabling us to deliver our products more efficiently.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Develop chapter members to acquire and grow the skills and capabilities needed for efficient and effective adoption of agile principles and practices.

  • Set up interaction and knowledge sharing processes among marketers

  • Participate in solving complex challenges that require the highest marketing competency

  • Set targets for development and growth and lead performance assessment of Chapter employees supporting ongoing professional development.

  • Hiring, onboarding and performance management of marketers in the chapter

  • Resolve capacity or structural issues within Chapter to support BU priorities

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five (5) years marketing experience with people management experience

  • Experience in fast-paced Agile environments

  • Ability to operate in the capacity of a trusted advisor to leaders seeking opportunities to further promote and apply an agile mindset within the organization.

  • Knowledgeable about Agile principles and application

  • Passionate about change and continuous improvement; willing to challenge the status quo and dissent when needed, and not afraid to point out areas of development.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administrations or equivalent is required.

Preferred

  • Master’s Degree / MBA

  • Agile certification or training
