Job Description

This Global Brand Strategy Associate Director will lead efforts to shape and to bring the Women’s Cancers to life.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Building brands in Women’s Cancers include strong value propositions. The Associate Director will lead/co-lead the L3 Strategic Framework for assigned product(s) aligned with the Global Disease team. Work collaboratively with multiple functional teams including the Global Disease Team, Market Research, and Regions to achieve assigned product aspiration.

Know the customers: Lead efforts to cross-functionally obtain a deep understanding of customers including drivers, barriers, and the ecosystems in which they operate. Lead the initiation of brand strategy customer insight market research projects along with market research function point.

Contribute to and help shape the strategic direction of the global Women’s Cancers portfolio through active participation with Global Disease Team, and other forums with Regional leaders.

Lead the brand strategy annual Oneplan in collaboration with the Global Disease Team. Lead the development of customer engagement plans aligned to opportunity spaces that include science, label, and region input to help support the delivery of a unified, positive customer experience.

Leads shaping of key strategic communication objectives for assigned brand(s) by working with the Global Disease Team, Cross-Functional and Regional Teams. The communication objectives are created in alignment with the product opportunity spaces.

Drive marketing effectiveness through strong messaging and content development designed to drive engagement in multiple channels, including digital, yielding increased share. Coordinate with agency partners on customer engagement material development and on the Promotional Review Team (PRT) process. Ensure the appropriate administration of promotional budgets for assigned products. All activities will be conducted in full compliance with our Company policies, values, and standards.

Lead Global promotional and medical education material development and work with Global Learning & Development Lead to build strong train the trainer programs for Regions and Markets around the world.

Demonstrate operational efficiency by leveraging, integrating best practices and facilitating cross-Region learning.

Lead the creation and monitoring of Agency scope of work (SOWs) and the bi-annual Agency of Record evaluation process.

Demonstrate our Company's way of working leadership behaviors including building networks, sharing, focusing on the customer, and driving results. Maintain alignment to compliance goals and policies.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree required

Required:

  • Minimum of 4 years experience in marketing, marketing communications, or marketing support of pharmaceutical products.

  • Demonstrated ability to execute a brand or customer marketing strategy.

  • Experience leading cross-functional teamwork.

  • Strong knowledge of marketing principles.

  • Campaign and Message Development experience.

  • Constituency Management across oranizational lines.

  • Excellent planning and presentation skills

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Agency/vendor management skills.

Preferred:

  • Masters in Business Administration

  • Knowledge/experience with the Oncology Marketplace.

  • Product launch or launch planning experience.

  • Market research experience.

  • Marketing/Marketing support in Oncology and/or Specialty marketplace

  • Knowledge of our Company's commercial, regulatory, and legal compliance policies.

  • Experience in our Company's end-to-end medical/legal (Promotion Revie Team) review and delivery process.
