Associate Director, U.S. Oncology Long-Term Portfolio Strategy

Job Description:

The Associate Director of US Oncology Long-term Portfolio Strategy will report to the Director of US Oncology Portfolio Marketing Strategy and Operations. This role will have responsibility for the development and planning of the long-term US Oncology Strategy (2-5 year time horizon). The role will:

  • Support the US Company Oncology 5-Year Strategy which includes:
    • Development of road maps for critical strategic initiatives and leading the execution of key initiatives over the time horizon
    • Leading and/or supporting efforts to better understand how customers needs will evolve across the care delivery ecosystem and develop strategies that enable our Company's Oncology to engage them in relevant ways into the future
    • Leverage customer insights to help ensure our Company Oncology is well-positioned across its portfolio of mono and combo agents and providing input to future co-formulation/collaboration opportunities
    • Assisting in the identification and realization of future trends and potential future strategic partnerships (e.g., customer groups, digital capability providers, etc.) that strengthen our position as the leader in Oncology. Will include working in collaboration with other organizational stakeholders -e.g., Center for Observational and Real-world Evidence as appropriate.
    • Support and pull-through establishing a long-term data and capabilities strategy including, but not limited to, Real World Evidence , Artificial Intelligence, etc., that strategically positions our Company for the future
  • Support and coordinate efforts to develop a Life-cycle Management Plan for the Franchise
  • Collaborate with Global Marketing, Competitive Intelligence, and U.S. brand teams on monitoring competitive entrants and significant market events.
  • Engage with colleagues across the Company enterprise to ensure that Marketing is prepared to address future opportunities

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree

Skills Required:

  • 3+ years of pharmaceutical marketing experience
  • Strong market strategy development skills
  • Analytical acumen
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Learning agility
  • Strong foundation in building market strategy
  • Ability to work through white space
  • Communication skills
  • Proven leadership and collaboration skills and the ability to work across diverse stakeholders
  • Strong project management and organization skills

Desired Skills:

  • 2+ years of Strategic Planning
  • 2+ years Oncology experience
  • 2+ years of Marketing Execution experience
  • 2+ years of business development and/or strategic alliance experience
