The Director, Pediatric and Hepatitis Global Marketing is a key role on the franchise, reporting directly to the AVP, Global Commercial Lead for the business. This role is being created as a hybrid role working on brand teams and across the pediatric strategy realization.

Over time and depending on the capabilities of the candidate this role is anticipated to focus in one direction as Brand Leader or Strategy Operations / Delivery role.


Candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Lead key workstreams on the ‘Growing Forward’ strategy for the Pediatric and Hepatitis franchise.

  • Projects and insight generation to inform commercial growth, brand scenario planning and market development work.

  • Ensuring strong alignment to and execution of the strategy across the extended Vaccines teams (Global Cross-Functional Team, Country Marketing teams, Medical Affairs, Policy, Promotions, Market Research, Communications, Learning Development etc.).

  • Partner with Regional & country teams to drive global Pediatric and Hepatitis strategy and prioritized deliverables in key markets.

  • Serving as point person for all Regional Assemblies/Summits and regional meetings.

  • Lead Market Engagements for market planning, road mapping, strategy integration, external narrative,

  • GCT and CFT team meeting planning.

  • Oversee and manage monthly and quarterly Cross Functional Team meetings, Regional Assemblies and Global Marketing Forums.

  • Developing brand specific public and private marketing strategies and execution plans including market and performance analyses consistent with the overall brand strategy.

  • Driving global market research initiatives to inform global strategy and/or support local execution.

  • Directing development of global promotional content, in alignment with strategy and in partnership with external ad agency.

  • Creating and deploying innovative customer engagement and brand promotion strategies for

  • HCP and HCC, solutions that fully leveraging digital, social media, data analytics, and partner with the Digital COE, Enterprise Social Media Team and IT partners.

Education:

  • Required: BA /BS

  • Preferred: Master’s Degree in Business Administration, health policy or health economics and related disciplines

  • A scientific background is also preferred, in either undergraduate or graduate studies

Required Experience and Skills:

  • At least 10 years of combined experience in one or more of these areas: access, marketing, or commercial operations (or equivalent roles) .

  • Experience with Sales and Operation planning and supply/demand planning (S&OP)

  • Ability to anticipate and rapidly respond to market and competitive changes in developing and executing tendering, pricing, and brand strategies.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to identify creative approaches to market/customer in support of growing the business.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong influencing, negotiating, and working collaboratively in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.

  • Strong commercial orientation and business acumen.

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.

  • Strong project management and operational skills.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to understand, develop and communicate commercial strategies and messages

  • Competitive scenarios and simulation / planning and execution of global business strategies

  • Global or Region/Country marketing experience

  • Vaccines experience

  • Customer and Brand Marketing strategy development experience

  • Consumer and/or digital marketing experience

Travel:

  • 25% of time; ~ 6 to 8 trips per year to attend regional meetings, conferences, or country market development workshops.
