Job Description

Our Marketing team is passionate about bringing our medicines and vaccines to our customers around the world. Through digital listening and patient analytics, we are able to understand our customers’ needs and strive to provide solutions to meet them.

This position is location agnostic.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • The evolution of all key strategic choices including targeting, positioning, access strategy, competitive planning, deployment plan, etc.

  • Determining the right balance of spending vs. revenue growth to maximize income.

  • Managing promotion budget to optimize investments across audiences and channels to drive net sales.

  • Management of up to 4 direct reports. Also providing leadership for the Sleep extended team including Analytics and Insights, Managed markets, Digital Engagement Team, etc.

  • Leading change to an agile marketing model as part of the CC BU front runner pilot for the US market; sharing learnings to inform US market scaling of this approach going forward.

  • Collaborating with Sales, Market Access, Medical Affairs, CORE, our Manufacturing Division, Global Neuroscience Marketing, Product Development Team (PDT), our Research & Development Division, policy, regulatory, legal/compliance teams and other relevant stakeholders to optimize performance.

  • Serving as the commercial leader on the Product Development Team (PDT) and assuming Global Brand Leader responsibilities.

  • Effectively communicating with senior management to ensure organizational alignment around the product strategy, life-cycle management, forecasts, and resource needs.

  • Creating and achieving demand, net sales and income forecasts.

  • This position currently reports to the VP, Chronic Care BU and serves as a member of the CC BU Leadership Team.

Education:

  • Required: BA/BS

  • Preferred: MBA

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience including Sales, Marketing Strategy, and/or Managed Care in US market

  • Proven success in understanding of marketing and strategic planning, with a clear impact on P&L and demand trends

  • Demonstrated proactive leadership skills and ability to partner across the organization

  • Business acumen, bias for action, and developing talent

  • Experience leading diverse teams in a solid line and/or matrix environment

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Understanding of US commercial and regulatory requirements

  • Experience leading agile teams

  • Experience working on digital initiatives
