Job Description

As marketing roles across the US Oncology organization are evolving and broadening, this position is designed to be a flexible marketing role that may focus on any aspect of marketing over time based on business needs and/or the capabilities and development needs of the team. The initial focus of the role is outlined below, but the role could include or shift to other aspects of marketing in the future.

The position will be based in Upper Gwynedd, PA but can operate from anywhere in the US. The position requires sales management and/or Health Care Professional promotion experience, as well as a customer centric mindset and exceptional ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, navigate complexity, and lead without authority.

Initial responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Lead for execution strategy, planning and pull through in support of the 1L aRenal Cell Carcinoma combination, in partnership with Field Execution Team and Renal Cell Carcinoma Health Care Professional indication lead.

  • Partner with sales training and sales teams to drive successful field execution in support of commercialization of current Renal Cell Carcinoma indication while gathering field insights.

  • Primary brand marketing contact/partner for field team discussions (eg, FIT teams, marketing meet ups, district meetings, national sales meeting, launch webcasts).

  • Monitor & track field execution metrics against goals across all customer facing teams and seek opportunities to optimize field team effectiveness.

  • Lead field execution projects including executing segmentation, flags, next best engagement, etc.

  • Lead for field communications.

  • Lead and collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to prioritize work and facilitate internal resource trade-offs as needed, e.g. budget and medical/legal review time.

  • Escalate issues that represent significant barriers to execution or business impact; challenge current approaches and gain sponsorship and support within the company to address gaps.

  • Partner with multiple US oncology teams to translate insights into actions at customer level.

Education Requirement:

  • Required: Bachelor's degree

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Focused mindset on customer experience

  • Prior sales or Health Care Professional (HCP) promotion experience bringing materials through legal, regulatory, and clinical review

  • Strong interpersonal/negotiation skills, relationship building skills, & ability to influence within and across organizations

  • Strong problem solving, teamwork, project management and written/verbal communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated successful marketing and/or sales execution in highly competitive market

  • Excels when addressing ambiguity, working outside existing processes or structures

  • Experience influencing without direct authority and working successfully with cross-functional teams

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Core marketing experience including brand strategy development & execution planning

  • Oncology marketing or related experience
