We are currently recruiting for an Associate Director, US Oncology HCP Marketing, Prostate Cancer. This position will lead the HCP scientific strategy and execution for US Prostate launches across multiple indications. The position will report to the Tumor Lead in the US Oncology Marketing for Prostate Cancer.

This is a pivotal role and will help build a strong launch readiness platform to accelerate launch uptake across multiple indications. This position will require outstanding leadership in many different areas including scientific strategy, go-to-market launch planning, counter-competition, launch execution excellence, digital promotion, and cross-functional/agencies collaboration.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the HCP scientific strategy, go-to-market plan and launch tactics across multiple indications to maximize overall opportunity.

  • Lead the development, evolution, and execution of the scientific competitive plans.

  • Provide commercial viewpoint as well as collaborating with Medical Affairs to create a network of external thought leaders, conduct advisory board meetings, speaker training forums and symposia, build personal rapport and advocacy.

  • Manage the external speaker bureau and speaker training.

  • Lead planning for U.S. exhibits and conventions.

  • Proactively monitor external data, publications and their impact on future treatment algorithms, as well as potential impact on guidelines and pathways.

  • Build an internal scientific network to discuss key scientific issues and share best practices – collaborate with clinical research, medical affairs, RML and others.

  • Collaborate with GEMS, CORE and Access teams to support needs including provision of models, analytical support, value dossier, etc.

  • Track and monitor Scientific Leader (SL) engagement.

  • Partner with digital promotions team to develop new assets and innovative digital strategy, and engagement plans.

  • Develop an annual budget and track expenses through the year.

  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to prioritize work and facilitate internal resource trade-offs as needed, e.g. budget, MLR review time.

  • Provide regular input into marketing strategy and strategic choices.

Position location: Upper Gwynedd, PA or Virtual (Remote)

Education Requirement:

  • Required: BA/BS

  • Preferred: MBA/MS

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry

  • 3+ years of pharmaceutical marketing experience

  • Oncology marketing experience

  • Core marketing experience including strategy development and tactical execution

  • Promotional medical education strategy and execution

  • Strong relationship building, problem solving, innovative thinking, teamwork, analytical, and written/verbal communication skills

  • Strength managing complexity and multiple competing priorities

  • Experience influencing without direct authority and working successfully with cross-functional teams and multiple agency partners

  • Requires up to 20% travel, including some weekends

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Experience working in Prostate cancer

  • Launch experience with new products/indications

  • Direct customer experience (sales, sales leadership, etc.)

  • Test-and-learn mindset to drive a culture of innovation
