The Marketing Standards and Business Support leader will be accountable for creating a best-in-class operation across the commercial organization. This role will be a liaison with the US Human Health organization to ensure alignment with marketing promotional programs and sales force initiatives. This position will oversight for the following business areas: Promotional Materials, Marketing Campaigns, Promotion Standards, Marketing Services, Training and will be part of the Puerto Rico leadership team reporting directly to the Managing Director.

Main responsibilities:

  • Builds and maintains business relationship with US Human Health Team & partners effectively with Product Review teams, Marketing and Sales;
  • Promotes the marketing organization and operational results by managing and facilitating the implementation of promotional programs based on product-specific marketing strategies within established budget, policies, procedures, and compliance;
  • Partners cross-functionally to study, review, and gain internal support for promotional opportunities.
  • Coaches, develops and motivates direct reports as well as promotes a culture of learning, smart risk-taking and experimentation;
  • Organizes and monitors Marketing Standards work processes;
  • Sets department and individual performance goals and deadlines;
  • Receives and tracks employee and stakeholders' complaints, and resolves problems;

Education Minimum Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Bachelor of Arts or Science)

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Previous people management experience;
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, both oral and written;
  • Previous experience in regulated market public policies (food, beverages, pharmaceuticals, banking, finance, etc.);
  • Comprehends sales business models, processes, needs, and can translate business requirements into practical solutions;
  • Demonstrated success executing complex programs with diverse technical teams, and stakeholder management of globally dispersed businesses;
  • Excellent organizational, project/time management skills and proven success managing effectively multiple projects/priorities;
  • Skilled at building organizational networks;
  • Excellent data and analytical skills;
  • Oriented to Innovation: develop strategies through consumer and client insights;
  • Strategic vision: interprets findings quickly and frequently anticipate the issues;
  • Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity within a compliance framework;

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Postgraduate extension/MBA in Marketing and Sales Management, Business Management, or other related areas is preferred.
