Job Description

New hires in office-based roles in the US & Puerto Rico will be required, subject to applicable law, to demonstrate that they have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or qualify for a medical or religious exemption to this vaccination requirement that can be accommodated without an undue burden to the operation. In April 2020, our Company announced plans to consolidate our New Jersey campuses into a single New Jersey headquarters location in Rahway, NJ by 2023. Therefore, this role will be temporarily based in a and exact timing of the departmental move to Rahway, NJ will be communicated at a future date.

Associate Director, Workforce Analytics

As part of the Workforce Analytics consulting team in HR, you will consult with internal clients on opportunities, concerns, and potential data-driven research projects to aid decision-making. This role partners with HR Leaders and corresponding Business Leaders to influence human capital strategies using data such as talent trends, employee listening, culture measurement, and diversity. This role requires the successful individual to deeply listen and understand organizational needs, suggest research or off-the-shelf internal analytics products to inform the need, and manage a book of work that will result in meaningful change for the organization they cover. Ultimately, this work furthers mission to, “… discover, develop and provide innovative products and services that save and improve lives around the world.”

In this role the Associate Director, Workforce Analytics will manage a small team of consultants.

Position location: Hybrid (NJ) or US, Remote optional

Qualifications

Education:

  • Masters degree from an accredited institution in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Statistics, Economics, Organizational Behavior, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or another related field

  • PhD degree is a plus

Required:

  • A minimum of 6 years of work experience in a data-driven consulting role (internal or external) with some social science dimension

  • Experience working in a Human Resources function, and particularly an HR analytical

  • Demonstrated ability to create recommendations based on analytical research and evidence

  • Demonstrated ability to conduct independent analyses and business summaries of findings

  • Successful track record in stakeholder management, linkage of business to human capital dimensions, and executive influencing through analytics

  • Collaborative workstyle in a deeply team-oriented, global, asynchronous working team

  • High degree of initiative and creativity

  • An interest in working on projects that focus on employees and Human Resource Management

  • Ability to create data-driven narratives, present findings and influence others on human capital topics (including the ability to visualize data and tell a story with it)

  • Understanding of statistical techniques used in a social science setting, with an ability to produce assets when needed in R or advanced excel methods (on occasion).

Preferred:

  • Domain expertise or thought leadership in talent, diversity & inclusion strategies, and analytics

  • Experience with Strategic Workforce Planning, including skills taxonomies and analytical approaches to workforce planning and org design

  • Understanding of HR processes, information systems, and governance

  • Experience with Workday reporting, Visier, Spotfire BI, and Glint
