As part of Novartis’ Discovery and Investigative Pathology function, this is a new role waiting for you to put your own stamp on it.<br>As a Molecular Pathology Scientist at Novartis, you will be part of an Experimental Pathology Laboratory in Cambridge MA, as well as a global pathology organization and network of labs in East Hanover NJ, and Basel Switzerland. The responsibilities will be for the generation of molecular pathology data working in close collaboration with research scientists and pathologists.<br><br>This global team of physician-scientists and researchers specializes in integrating findings from early drug discovery projects with their own deep knowledge of disease pathways and unmet medical needs. They offer insights on where a novel therapy might have the highest impact on diseases and what research needs to be done prior to clinical testing. <br><br>What you’ll be doing<br>•Demonstrate proficiency in molecular pathology techniques such as Immunohistochemistry and InSitu hybridization and perform high quality experiments and procedures with a high degree of autonomy. <br>•Experience with image acquisition and various imaging platforms is desirable<br>•Based on experimental results, assist in the design of follow-up studies, recognize problems, and actively provide input on solutions.<br>•Maintain awareness of relevant scientific advances in molecular pathology and apply new approaches where appropriate.<br><br>[#video#https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FIxJdzIn0mE{#400,300#}#/video#]
