We transform the lives of people by developing innovative and life-changing medicines.<br><br>The Associate Expert, Science & Technology (Sample Operations), is responsible for managing and tracking samples and tasks associated with the Technical Research and Development laboratory (TR&D) and Technical Development (TD) team at our Durham, NC Facility. <br><br>Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:<br><br>• Manages internal and external lab testing performed by TR&D and TD including contracting and invoicing.<br>• Assists with and works with various teams to define budgets for sample testing.<br>• Assists with the management of long term and short term sample forecasts.<br>• Manages sample logistics for internal and external testing labs.<br>• Develops, maintains, and on-boarding of a LIMS system and training other users on LIMS system. <br>• Tracks and reports Key Performance Indicators for analytical sample testing. <br>• Data management, including gathering and reporting data from testing labs to the requestor.<br>• Looks for opportunities to implement operation excellence and continuous improvement.<br>• Manages material requests and sample inventory.<br>• Proactively communicates status, issues, and actions to appropriate parties.<br>• Adheres to all EH&S policies, procedures, and guidelines.<br>• Other related duties as assigned.<br><br>[#video#https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mo1vwtVPVA0{#400,300#}#/video#]
