Position Description:

Our R&D division is about to embark on a transformative journey in our Global Clinical Development ecosystem through an initiative called Zero Gravity.

Today, our teams are focused on the technical capabilities of our clinical development applications and tools which enable business functions and cross-functional needs. Our teams have an opportunity to pivot to business process reengineering broadly across the clinical development ecosystem. Value will be generated in an incremental fashion, which will be enabled by technology advancement through Zero Gravity.

The ideal candidate is an independent thinker, with a strong background in leading complex change at a program/portfolio level.

Role Responsibilities:

Provide program leadership for Zero Gravity including:

  • Continue to mature our Zero Gravity governance model and program management office ways of working,

  • Plan, facilitate, and communicate the strategic operations of Zero Gravity,

  • Communicate the Zero Gravity plan and roadmap over time and with inputs from our Business and IT leaders, including our Value Team leads.

Plan and facilitate working sessions across the Clinical & Real World Evidence Generation Value Team, including the Product Line Leaders and Product Owners, to resolve challenges and/or amplify opportunities to continuously and sustainability delivers value to our customers. Document changes to the roadmap, when they occur above the product line level, and communicate the changes.

Lead the business stakeholders through New Ways of Working, such as: Knowing-to-Learning; Withholding-to-Sharing; Planning-to-Experimentation. Key element of success will be to lead others in thinking about data as an asset beyond the boundaries of any one functional area.

This role will report to the Business Technology Partner for Zero Gravity.

Position Qualifications:

Education Minimum:

  • B.A./B.S.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 5+ years driving large-scale, cross-functional change and/or transformation at program or portfolio level

Preferred:

  • Seamlessly able to shift from waterfall to agile methodologies

  • Experience in IT product model implementation
