Have you got what it takes?
- Class A CDL License & DOT Medical Card is required – no wiggle room on this. (Sunstate will pay for DOT Medical card renewal if needed)
- Must have a driving record in good standard
- Safely transport equipment to customer and job site locations in a timely, safe and courteous
manner. - Accurately document delivery and pick-up of equipment.
- Maintain accurate Driver Logbook daily and efficiently complete Pre and Post trip Inspections.
- Adhere to ALL Company Safety policies including FMCSA regulations.
- Safely load and unload equipment (Load securement Regulations required by the DOT)
- Maintain a Safe and Clean work environment, including Service and appearance of Company
Vehicle. - Follow delivery and pick-up instructions from Dispatcher and Management.
- Build, test, repair shoring equipment and perform any other duties as required by ALL
management, up to and including job site, yard, warehouse, and general tasks. - Physical exertion required. Including, but not limited to, walking, standing, stooping, bending and lifting up to 90 pounds
- Maintain customer relations by consistently being courteous, professional and helpful. Drivers are considered an extension of sales.
- Forklift and Crane certifications preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA guidelines preferred
